TIMELY FILING GUARANTEE
“Hood County Environmental Health office is now charging the property owner a Non-Compliant Customer $50 fee for turning in a late contract. Per TCEQ rules contracts must be received 30 days prior to the expiration date of current contract.
RULE §285.7(d)(2) Maintenance Requirements
(2) Contract submittals. Unless the owner maintains the system, as excepted by paragraph (4) of this subsection, a copy of the signed maintenance contract shall be provided by the owner to the permitting authority 30 days before the expiration of the initial two-year service policy. For the time period after the initial two-year service policy, the owner is required to have a new maintenance contract signed and submitted to the permitting authority at least 30 days before the contract expires unless the owner maintains the system, as excepted by paragraph (4) of this subsection. As your Maintenance Providers, We guarantee that any contract received 14 days or more before the filing is due (due 30 days prior to previous expiration as per rules above) will be filed on time. If we are unable to produce proof of timely filing and you (property owner) are fined for late filing, we will reimburse you up to $50 of fines paid.
